At The Modern Birth Experience we offer a wide variety of services from child birth education to labor support, vaginal steaming and more. Below you may find the services to best suit your needs.
Prenatal Support & Planning
The Modern Birth Experience takes on a limited number of clients at any one time to make sure that you are given the full care and attention you deserve. By offering prenatal visits, our goal is to reduce any stress and anxiety, allowing you to pay attention to your body and your baby. You will be able to contact us on a regular basis in between our visits with any questions or concerns to help put you at ease. Most importantly, we will be there to help you and you partner prepare for birth and life once baby is born.
Birthing Guidance
Through birthing guidance, we offer unwavering support to you and your family before, during and after birth. We will be on call for you starting at 37 weeks to be present and offer emotional and physical support when you are in labor.
Postpartum Support
Pregnancy, birth and the early days of child rearing can be very scary and stressful. Your doula's role during your postpartum period is to ensure that you get the best information and care possible for you and baby. No matter when you need us, we will be there offering support.
Placenta Encapsulation
Placenta medicine is a practice that dates back to 1578 in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Reported benefits of placenta consumption in the form of capsules, tinctures, and salves includes: Decreased risk of PMADS, increased milk supply and regulation, more energy, skin healing, hormone balance, and replenishment of iron stores.
Vaginal Steaming
Vaginal Steaming is a holistic practice rooted in traditions from countries all over the world. It is believed to help a multitude of womb and vaginal ailments such as menstrual cramps, hemorrhoids, fibroids, PCOS. Those who practice this ritual have also reported increases in fertility, libido, and improved cycle regulation.

Postpartum Doula Services
The postpartum period should be used for both bonding and resting. Postpartum doula support helps to enhance this period by helping new parents easily transition into parenthood.

Vaginal Steaming
Vaginal steam sessions are uniquely tailored for your individual needs from the type of herbs that are used to the amount of time you steam. Upon booking you will be asked to fill out a short questionnaire to ensure that you do not have any contradictions for steaming.
Queen V Steam
$50
Imagine a day relaxing day at the spa but for the most sacred part of your being. Each steam session will come herbs customized to your needs, and relaxing cup of herbal tea or infused water, soothing music, and aromatherapy.
Goddess Steam Party
$350 - Up to 6 People
Spend quality time connecting with your closet friends. Each person will receive a customized steaming blend, herbal tea or infused water, soothing music, aromatherapy, and light hors d'oeuvres
